The new Horizon School is affiliated to West Bengal Board of Secondary Education as a co-educational English Medium School with classes from Pre-Nursery to class X. The school runs in two shifts – The Morning section :- Pre Nursery - ClassIII. The Day section: class IV – X. The institution, being fairly cosmopolitan, offers both Hindi and Bengali as first language subjects with English as the second language for all classes and the Sanskrit as third language for classes VII & VIII while the students of V+VI have Hindi and Bengali as third languages for Bengali and Hindi students respectively. Special facilities for computer Theory and Practical Education are provided for classes I -X by trained teachers in both Morning and Day sections. All other subjects are followed according to West Bengal Board's selected curriculum for Primary and Secondary classes. The school building provided two floors with well ventilated class rooms with separate Computer and Library rooms. Toilets for boys and girls are in the individual floors with separate system for teachers. An open space of good size helps outdoor activities.
