Rabindra Jayanti was celebrated on the 17th of May, 2019 in the school campus. The programme was started with an opening song. Then children of the morning section presented a small cultural programme. A short programme was presented by the students of the day section too. Mr. Chakraborty -- our Principal Sir attended the function and spoke a few words on Rabindranath Tagore.
To commemorate the birth anniversary of our Founder President Sri Himanshu Kumar Niyogi a Quiz Contest was held on 8th July 2019. The students of class III, IV and V were the participants. After then Team Kellogg's did a campaign with the children of the morning section.
Later in the afternoon we listen about the Global Warming and Scarcity of Water from Dr. Dulal Chandra Das (Professor) HOD GEOGRAPHY Dept of Bidhan Nagar College.
15th August was celebrated in The New Horizon High School with full vigor and enthusiasm . Students of both primary and secondary put up a colourful program after the flag hoisting in the premises by our Principal Sir Mr. Mrinalkanti Chakraborty. The student then were taken to the Aurobindo Bhavan to pay homeage to The Mother and Rishi Aurobindo.
On the 30th August, 2019 Grandparents Day was celebrated in The New Horizon High School. Children of the morning section showed their love and respect to their grandparents with a colourful culture programme followed by a fun game played by the senior fellows. The grandparents also enjoyed the event with fun and gaiety.
At BLAZING HORIZONS, the 2nd reunion of The New Horizon High School on Sunday, 22.09.2019. A commendable initiative, indeed, by former New Horizonites. Many old/retired teachers reunited, shared and cherished the memories related with this campus.
